A: Just bring it to us clean and all the accessories removed from the bed. Tie-downs and factory installed rail caps can stay. Remove anything that wasn't factory installed like toolboxes, plastic bedliners, tonneau covers, ladder racks, metal rail bars, etc. If you're not sure, just call us and ask.
A: In about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
A: The spray dries in 2-3 seconds. When you get your truck back, it will be ready for light duty use immediately.
A: It takes about 24 hours to fully cure, anytime after that is fine.
A: To clean your bedliner, use high pressure washing with soap and water only is best. Use a firm bristle brush to remove deep dirt if needed. Also, see
A: Color matching is difficult and expensive, it ads a couple hundred dollars to the process. Colors will fade with time and will show wear spots in uneven colors. They just don't hold up to heavy use like a black liner does. They all start out looking nice, but within a few years they change colors. We don't feel comfortable selling you a liner that you may not be happy with in a few years. Black matches all your trim, tires and windows.
A: This is probably my favorite question to answer as it allows me to teach the customer about the LINE-X material. LINE-X is specifically manufactured solely for LINE-X and is not available to anyone other than a LINE-X Franchise. In the early days of LINE-X, the material was made in smaller batches. As time went on and the public was made aware of the LINE-X material, the demand for the product grew and the LINE-X Corporation made agreements with BASF Chemical Corporation (the worlds largest chemical manufacturer), as they could get larger amounts of raw materials at a lower price, to manufacture the LINE-X material for them. The LINE-X material is extremely consistent from batch to batch due to the large amounts manufactured.
The problems you'll find with smaller manufacturers is an inconsistency from time to time due to substitutions and alterations as needed. Not only that, but the chemical make-up of the materials have nowhere near the research nor constant improvement as the LINE-X material.
Now about the big Price differences: Basically put, you can't expect to get a top notch product with much more experience for the same low price as a low quality product and little to no experience at all. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! It may sound rude, but it is very true. If you want a nose job you don't look through the yellow pages and call to get phone prices and go with the cheapest estimate...you shop around. Same goes for Spray-On Bedliners. A spray-on bedliner is a permanent application...once it's on it isn't coming off (unless the truck is prepared improperly). You really need to go in and look, feel and learn what makes up the liner itself. In fact, there are so many bedliner "brands" (see next question below), on the market today that they are all trying to get their hands into your wallets that they are selling their cheap materials for a very cheap price. For the price you would pay to get about 4-5 normal trucks sprayed, you could own your own Spray-On Bedliner system for yourself. Now, honestly, how secure of a business do you think that would be; everyone and their brothers would be in the spray-on bedliner business. LINE-X sets their standards much higher and are extremely cautious as to where to allow a LINE-X to operate. You will NEVER see a LINE-X across from a LINE-X or even two in the same town. This allows for a much more rigid quality control structure with fair and honest marketing.
A: Did you know that there are currently well over 30 different "brands" of Spray-On Bedliners saturating the market today?
Just remember one important thing. Any good salesman can sell junk. We let our liners sell themselves. No sales pitches, gimmicks or nonsense. We sell VALUE.
This is where the other liners stop and LINE-X goes even further:
